Peru's currency is a Peruvian Nuevo Sol, which is worth approximately 0.29 USD. The value of the nuevo sol has dropped since 2012 however. Peru has many different trade, import, and export. Their main trade is gold, copper, and gas. The type of goods imported into the country are cars, vehicular parts, refined petroleum, and ores. Their largest trading partner is China, then the United States.

Peru's economy doesn't conflict it's nation internally or externally, but OPEC helps them with money by trading petroleum and not damaging the nation.
